The choice of components and the proportions in which they are employed are solely governed by jointly set objectives.

They are a large range of combinations possible - it is for this reason that I have chosen to illustrate my work in the form of concrete, recent assignments, i.a. real case studies.

Cross-cultural communications seminars in the context of a German-Italian joint venture

Setting: 6 groups of 16 to 20 people - management and non-management levels.
Objectives: Acquiring a better knowledge of the way cultures influence communications models and work organisation. Developing modes of operating and working together adapted to a bi-cultural context.

 

Team-building for multi- or bi-cultural teams

Setting: Entire team including the team manager.
Objectives: Improving communication and collaboration within the team through a greater understanding of culture and people. Application of resources specific to the culture of each group in order to achieve common objectives.

 

Personal and strategic team preparation for the creation of overseas subsidiaries

Setting: The entire team including the team manager
Objectives: Gaining a better understanding of different mentalities, communication and working methods. Adaption of the penetration strategy to the target culture.

 

Training the raise awareness of cross-cultural communications in a business context

Setting: Groups of 12 to 16 people
Objectives: Understanding cross-cultural differences via role play and the way they influence behaviour. Widening individual action repertoires for improved adaption to a cross-cultural context.

 

Preparation and accompaniment of expatriate managers

Setting: One-to-one basis, pairs or small groups
Objectives: Learning about differences in mentalities, their influence on daily corporate life and communication. Improving human resources management in model scenarios in the new cultural context. Adapting development projects and strategy to environmental conditions.

 

Cross-cultural training for managers in Franco-German Companies

Setting: One-to-one basis programmes or group seminars
Objectives: Adapting company team communication and implementation of management tools to bi-cultural issues. Developing indidvual's range of managerial relations for bi-national teams.
